Manufacturing Operator Wanted!

We are currently seeking a Manufacturing Operator to join a busy and well-established manufacturing site based in Welshpool. This is a great opportunity for someone with manufacturing or workshop experience who enjoys hands-on work in a supportive team environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Mark out liners for cutting and operate bandsaws, bridge saws, and brick saws to cut ceramic liners
• Carry out general welding duties, including AR bar work and chute repairs
• Mark out and stud liners according to engineering drawings
• Ensure plant, tools, and equipment are maintained and shut down correctly after use
• Maintain a clean and organised workspace in line with 5S standards
• Follow and update process specifications and safety procedures

About You

• Minimum 1 year experience in a manufacturing or workshop environment
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Welding experience preferred but not essential
• Strong focus on safety, cleanliness, and quality workmanship
• Reliable and able to work in a team-focused environment
• Ability to complete a medical and drug and alcohol test

• $37.41 per hour inclusive of 25% casual loading
• Monday to Friday roster
• 5:00am – 1:00pm shifts
